This shampoo features wintergreen and birch bark for tender scalps with problems like psoriasis and dandruff. "Salicylic acid occurs naturally in wintergreen leaves and sweet birch bark. This beta hydroxy acid improves the appearance and condition of the skin. It has micro-exfoliating action causing exfoliation, and is also used in anti-microbial medicine." Our shampoo has wintergreen and birch bark and other herbs steeped in distilled water, plus panthenol, kelp, apple cider vinegar, honey, tea tree and more, formulated to be a real treat for scalps with dandruff, psoriasis or eczema. It also has soy quat and vitamins E & C, scented with essential oils of wintergreen, sandalwood and frankincense.
